About the Walk

The Walk MS is complete, but our mission "to free the world of MS" is not. Walk MS offers tremendous inspiration and hope. Although the sun may not have made an appearance at all 10 of our walks, the MS community was shining brightly.

Each year thousands of individuals, families and friends join together to participate in one of the Walk MS events held throughout Colorado to move toward a world free of MS. Presented by the Colorado Chapter of the National MS Society, the walks raise funds for programs, advocacy services and research that benefit 72,000 Coloradans affected by MS.

All of our Walk MS events are kid and pet friendly. We do not have a registration fee or minimum donation amount to participate; however, in 2008 Colorado Walk MS participants raised an average of $278 dollars for programs, services and research. Thank You!

In 2008, more than 10,000 people participated in eleven walks were held throughout Colorado, raising $1.4 million! In 2008, the Colorado Chapter invested $974,000 in research and $3.3 million in programs and services here in Colorado and we thank you for your ongoing support of our mission.

Thanks to your generosity, we are busy processing thousands of donations collected for our shared mission and we hope to have all donations entered soon. Please know and let your donors know that any size gift will be greatly appreciated - it's not the amount, it's the volume of gifts that make our walks so successful.
