What better way to experience the MS Walk than to participate with the people you love to be around? Get started by forming a team consisting of your family, friends, co-worker and everyone else you know! It’s not complicated all you need are four or more people, a team name and a captain. Once you’ve done that, you’re ready to register your team for the MS Walk and start collecting pledges.
What is a Team?
An MS Walk Team consists of four or more walkers who are dedicated to end the devastating effects of MS. Teams may have walkers of all different skill levels and ability. Each team has a unique team name and team captain.
Forming a team… is as easy as 1, 2, 3.
1. Recruit, recruit, recruit!
Spread the word to friends, family and co-workers and encourage them to join you! MS Walk teams must consist of 4 or more people but there is no limit to the number of team members one team can include. The more people, the more fun it will be and the more money your team will raise.
2. Fundraise
See the fundraising section for creative ideas on how to fundraise!
3. Make it Fun!
Make a Day of It! Have a tent, have a picnic and make it a fun filled family day for a great cause.
