What time does the MS Walk start?
Walker check-in and registration begins at 7:30 AM. We'll start walking at 9:00 AM.

Where does my money go?
82 percent of the money raised at the MS Walk funds local programs and services for the more than 6,000 people living with MS in South Florida and national research efforts to find a cause and cure for MS.
How much money should I raise?
The MS Walk is one of the National MS Society's largest annual fundraisers. Last year MS Walkers raised on average $250! You will be amazed at how easy it is to ask your friends, family and co-workers to support you once you tell them about our mission.
When and where do I turn in my pledges?
There are three easy ways to turn in your pledges:
- Fundraise online! Pledging online is a quick, easy, no-hassle way for you to collect funds from friends, family and co-workers in your community and around the world. How to Set Up My Personal Page
- Turn in your donations the day of the event using the pledge envelope that is mailed to you prior to the event.
- Mail or drop off your donations at the National MS Society South Florida Chapter office:

Be sure to put your name in the memo portion of each check, along with your team name if you have one!

What if I need more contribution forms or brochures?
You can download the contribution form here (PDF). Please E-mail us or call us at 1 800 FIGHT MS (800-344-4867) for any additional materials that you may need (posters,brochures,etc.).

What is a team?
A team is a group of four or more family members, friends or co-workers who wish to walk together in support of the MS cause. Visit the Teams page to find out more.
I want to bring my kids with me. Do they need to register?
Yes, all individuals participating in the MS Walk, regardless of their age, must register. All individuals under the age of 18 must have adult supervision at the MS Walk.
What if I can't finish the MS Walk?
No problem! Each MS Walk site will have accessible support vehicles patrolling the routes. If necessary, a support vehicle can pick you up and take you to the finish line. (The vehicles will be clearly marked with the MS Walk logo on the driver and passenger side doors)
What if it rains?
The MS Walk takes place rain or shine. You'll have a great time for a great cause whether it's sunny, cloudy or rainy!
Can I bring my pet?
Please leave your pets at home. With hundreds and even thousands of people roaming about, we don't want pets or people injured.
When do I receive my prizes?
MS Walk participants who raise $100 or more will receive an official MS Walk t-shirt the day of the event and other prizes for those who qualify (all prizes will be located at the registration tent). Walkers can continue to raise funds and qualify for prizes until the following pledge deadline, May 20, 2010. View the 2010 Prize Levels
