Michael Cohen is a Partner in the law firm of Dorsey Whitney where he specializes in estate and succession planning. He has his JD from Georgetown University and undergraduate degree from the University of Washington. Mike is a former law clerk to the Supreme Court and was Assistant Chief Deputy in the King County Prosecutor's Office for 30 years. He has served as a lecturer in the Society and Justice Program at the University of Washington and has been a frequent speaker on estate and succession issues. He currently chairs the Shemanski Foundation Advisory Committee and is President of the Kline Galland Center,the largest Jewish elder care program in the Northwest. He and his wife, Laurie, live in Seattle and have two grown children.
