In Washington, DC, we are working toward positive legislative change on issues affecting people living with MS, including changes to health care reform, Medicare, Medicaid, and more. Our advocacy efforts in Congress are coordinated by the Federal Activism Council - a group of people living with MS, physicians, and health care experts.

We focus on these issues:

  • Health care reform
  • Disability rights and accessibility
  • Long-term care resources
  • Access to quality health care services
  • Increased funding for MS research
  • Accessible, affordable health insurance

Thank you to Washington's Representative McMorris Rodgers, for co-sponsoring the Lifespan Respite Care Reauthorization Act!
