As the need arises, the National MS Society takes a stand when issues affecting people with MS arise at the local level. Let us know if you have an issue in your community that you think the National MS Society should be involved in. Maybe your town’s mayor wants to cut services for people with disabilities or your city hall isn’t accessible to people who use wheelchairs. Let us know and we can help!

Recently, one of our volunteers in Seattle heard that the city is considering new rules for disabled parking spots. We are monitoring these proposals and working with the city to find a solution that preserves much needed parking for people with disabilities. Let us know if you want to help in this effort.

We also have a volunteer monitoring Sound Transit. If you have difficulties accessing Sound Transit buses or trains, we want to hear about it.
