We are the primary resource for MS information for professionals. Our ultimate goal in educating and partnering with healthcare professionals is to enhance the access and quality of care available to people with MS.


MS Summit

The seventh annual continuing medical conference, MS: Diagnostic Criteria, Challenges and Treatments, will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the Grand Hyatt Seattle, WA (please note our new location). This is the premiere MS-focused conference in the region, attracting an audience of neurologists, physiatrists and nurse practitioners involved in the search for answers to the complex questions of multiple sclerosis. MS Fellowships and Trainings

We offer fellowships and trainings for medical professionals interested in specializing in MS within their field.


Training for Long-term Care Professionals

We have developed a cost-free training program for long-term care staff on multiple sclerosis. This training is facilitated by an all-volunteer trained force able to offer our continuum of care services to facility staff and to residents living with MS.


Training for Fitness Professionals

Are you a fitness professional that is interested in working with people who have MS? Check out our free online training program for fitness professionals and learn about MS and how to work with people who live with the disease.


Are you a researcher who needs help with recruiting?

We may be able to assist PhD and/or MD-level researchers recruit people with MS and/or family members for appropriate Institutional Review Board (IRB)-approved research/clinical trial studies. Find out more


Partner with us

The Chapter maintains a list of neurologists and physiatrists who see patients with MS. Should you wish to be added to this list, please complete a physician referral form and mail it to our office.


Are your patients experiencing difficulty with coverage of their DMT’s?

We work to ensure that people living with MS have equal access to all Disease Modifying Therapies. If your patients are encountering difficulties with their prescriptions, please have them notify us by calling 1-800-344-4867 or email MSnorthwest@nmss.org.
