Commitment to the Movement
In 2007 BP America became the first national team to raise over $1 million nationwide in a single year. Since 2003 BP has brought in over $5.4 million to the Society. They currently participate in Bike MS rides in Texas, Alaska, Mississippi, Ohio, California, Utah and Chicago. BP America is an impressive force in the annual Houston to Austin BP MS 150 Bike Tour. In addition to their visibility as the event's title sponsor, nearly 1,000 BP Team members and employees participate. BP was chosen as a charter member of the Corporate Star program in 2003 and was the National Shining Star in 2005.
At the 2007 National Conference in Dallas, BP America presented the Society with a check for $200,000.
