Commitment to the Movement
Christopher & Banks is one of the Society’s longtime Corporate Stars and has received special recognition from the Society. In 2007 the company was presented the “Shining Star” award, which is given annually to the corporate partner who has demonstrated the most growth during the past year in their nationwide commitment to raising awareness for MS and their work with the Society.
Highlights of Christopher and Banks' commitment to raising funds and awareness for the MS movement include:
- A decade of sponsoring the Minnesota Chapter's Walk MS events with an investment of over $2.4 million
- Support of Walk MS at 15 additional chapters by providing over $315,000 in sponsorships in 2007 and 2008
- Selling the “MS Collection” jewelry line in Christopher & Banks stores and online. Introduced in the spring of 2007, the line has raised close to $200,000 for the MS cause.
