Commitment to the Movement
The Dow Chemical Company, a charter member of the Society's Corporate Star program, currently has Bike MS teams in Texas, Michigan, Louisiana, New Jersey, West Virginia, Delaware, and Edmonton, Canada, as well as a Walk MS team in Michigan.
Dow has raised more than $3.5 million nationally since they began participating in Bike MS, including $400,000 in 2007, over $515,000 in 2008, and over $400,000 in 2009.

In 2007, Dow presented Team Captain Lloyd Colegrove with the prestigious Human Element award in recognition of his leadership and dedication to the National MS Society. He now has a 30 by 40 foot picture of his face on the front of their corporate headquarters.
In Michigan, Dow has raised over $1 million through its Bike MS team (since 1999) & Walk MS team (since 2007), as well as corporate sponsorship. Dow associates also volunteer for various chapter events and committees
