Specialized Bike Contest Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. CONTEST BEGINS AT 12:00:00 AM EST on JANUARY 25, 2010 AND ENDS APRIL 30, 2010 at 11:59:00 PM EST.
ELIGIBILITY: This Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia, who are 18 years or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited or restricted by local, state or federal law. This Contest is subject to all applicable state and local laws. Proof of eligibility may be required.
Employees of National MS Society and Specialized, and their immediate family members (spouses, parents, siblings and children) are not eligible.
HOW TO ENTER: To enter, go to www.bikeMS.org during the Contest Entry period and complete the online Entry Form in its entirety. All online entries must be submitted by 11:59:00 PM EST on April 30, 2010 to be eligible. A valid e-mail address and internet access are required to enter the Sweepstakes. Entry also automatically opts you into the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Specialized mailing lists. However, you will have the option of opting out of these lists upon your receipt of any e-mail correspondence from the National MS Society or Specialized.
Any entrant may be requested to provide the National MS Society with proof that he/she is the “Authorized Account Holder” of the e-mail address associated with his/her entry. An entry must be made by the Authorized Account Holder of the e-mail address submitted on the Contest entry form. Only one (1) entry per Authorized Account Holder is allowed for the duration of the Contest.
The retail value of the bikes is $55,000. This translates to: 5 Pro level bikes at $4400 each, 15 Elite level bikes at $2200 each.
SELECTION OF WINNERS: Prize winners will be selected in a random drawing on or about May 1, 2010 from all eligible entries. Decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to this Contest. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received. Winners will be notified by mail and e-mail.
Prize is not transferable. No substitution of prize is permitted, except that the National MS Society reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.
Winners are solely responsible for all applicable taxes, title, fees and charges on prizes as may be necessary (including, but not limited to, income and sales tax). In order to receive the prize, the winner will be required to complete IRS form W-9 which will be provided by the National MS Society with a completed W-9 form to ensure compliance with IRS regulations.
