David Chaikin - Minnesota Chapter
David Chaikin, a former Marine, was diagnosed with MS in 1992 at age 44. Over time, the disease has made it difficult for him to use his legs, arms and voice. “It can be hard sometimes,” says Chaikin. “But what’s the alternative? Quit? Give up? I don’t think so!” Chaikin is committed to building momentum in the MS movement by volunteering hundreds of hours to MS Society programs each year. In fact, Chaikin initiates so much volunteer work on his own, the Society can’t even begin to track it all!
