We were a team of 6 in 1999 and 326 in 2007, riding in the City to Shore and PA Dutch Bike Tours. We've raised more than $709,000 for the National MS Society in the course of our history and we are bold enough to set a goal to pass the $1 million mark in 2008. The largest non-corporate MS150 cycling team in the US, Team Tania is comprised of special people who recognize they can make a real difference in the lives of others.
Why do we do this? Why do we train hard, raise money, cycle 150 miles in a weekend no matter the weather? No question....the Tour is fun, cycling is great exercise and being part of a team is fantastic, but we never lose sight of our real mission....to offer support and to fund a cure for Tania and thousands of our friends and neighbors with MS.
Join the team as a rider for eitherof the 2008 Greater Delaware Valley Chapter Tours--you can do it! Consider volunteering for the team or the NMSS. Or, join Valley Preferred, Gateway Veterinary Hospital, Borghese Law and ZAC Consulting as a team sponsor. Contact Stacey Asbell, team captain, at captain@teamtania.com for more information.
Thanks for your support of Team Tania and the fight against the devastating effects of Multiple Sclerosis. Together we can make sure there is a day very soon when no one has to hear the words, "You have MS."
