United Access hosts National Multiple Sclerosis Society
The latest vehicle mobility technology on display for MS Society Gateway Chapter
St. Louis, October 28, 2009 – United Access, leaders in vehicle mobility technology, provided a facility tour today for the staff of the local Multiple Sclerosis Society chapter.
The society members were introduced to the capabilities, technology and service of United Access. On display were the latest minivans with wheelchair conversions, high-tech lifts and driving controls, which can help people with MS gain the mobility they need in life.
“I found United Access to be very well organized with great customer service and very client focused,” said Suzanne Carron, Program Director for the National MS Society’s Gateway Chapter. “They really consider the variety of needs of the clients and then work to accommodate those needs.”
The Gateway Area Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, established in 1955, contributes to funding for the Society's research program and provides services to the more than 6,300 people living with MS and their families in a 90-county service area covering the eastern half of Missouri and the southern third of Illinois.
“I think we have a symbiotic relationship with the MS Society where we have a free flow of ideas about how to help our mutual clients,” said Stephen Kinstler, Mobility Specialist for United Access.
United Access, headquartered in St. Louis, has worked closely with the MS Society for years and is an industry-leading provider of wheelchair accessible vehicles, driving systems, mobility seats, and other adaptive technology vehicle modifications.
“Giving a tour and helping people understand what we do is a great feeling,” said Kinstler. “We always appreciate the opportunity to educate folks about the products and services we offer that will benefit those who have MS.”
United Access offers new wheelchair accessible vans, used wheelchair vans, wheelchair van rentals, scooter lifts, hand controls, mobility seats and transfer seats, wheelchair ramps and other adaptive equipment. We can arrange financing for up to 120 months, we do ‘buy-backs’ and accept trade-ins.
By offering conversions from Braun, VMI and Bruno, United Access offers more choices than anyone else in the region for vehicle brands like Ford, GM, Chrysler, Dodge, Honda and Toyota.
Since 1997, United Access has grown from one location in St. Louis to seven locations throughout the Midwest. United Access is one of the top ten mobility dealers in the nation and owes its success to attention to detail and a simple mantra, “always put the customer first.”
The growth of United Access over the past decade is due to loyal customers and dedicated employees. In fact, more than 20% of United Access’ employees are direct customers or family members of their customers. This unstated understanding means that each and every employee truly has the best interest of the customer at heart. The future of United Access has yet to be written but if the past is any indication, United Access will continue to grow because of our dedicated employees, loyal customers and vision “Best customer experience, period!”
