LOUDONVILLE -- More than 1,300 people gathered Sunday morning to walk to find a cure for multiple sclerosis.
New York State Assemblyman John McDonald and US Congressman Paul Tonko will be joint kick-off speakers for Walk MS Albany. As well, the event will be MC'ed by CBS 6's Dori Marlin. The National MS Society Upstate New York Chapter hopes to raise about $200,000 from the fundraiser at The Crossings of Colonie, and $1.4 million overall from Walk MS, which is happening in 19 Upstate communities in May.
