Spread the Word!
Thanks to significant advances in research, the FDA has approved several treatments that may alter the underlying disease course of multiple sclerosis and early treatment is critically important. People with MS should consult their doctors about using one of these FDA-approved medications and other effective treatments for the symptoms of MS. If you or someone you know has MS, contact the National MS Society - Northwestern Ohio Chapter for more information at 1-800-FIGHT MS.

  National MS Society Scholarship Program

MS shouldn’t stand in the way of an education. This is why the National MS Society's scholarship program exists — to help highly qualified students who have been diagnosed with MS or who have a parent with MS achieve their dreams of going to college.

The Society established its scholarship program in 2003 and the program continues to grow both in terms of support and scholarships awarded. In   its first year of operation the program awarded 36 scholarships for a total of $68,000; in 2008 a total of $1.14 million was awarded to 518 scholars.

2009 Scholarships — Scholarship applications for 2009 awards will be available October 1, 2008. Applications may be submitted from October 15, 2008 through January 15, 2009 and scholars receive notice in May, 2009.

For detailed guidelines and application information, click here.
