Help build the global MS movement through the Microsoft i’m initiative!
Microsoft’s i’m Initiative makes helping the National MS Society easy. Every time you use Windows Live™ Hotmail® or Windows Live Messenger, Microsoft shares a portion of its advertising revenue with the Society. You have to take a few simple steps to get started, but after that, the more messages you send, the more you help.
If you have not done so already, please sign up for Windows Live Messenger (Microsoft’s free instant messaging service) and Windows Live Hotmail (their free Web mail service). Then join the i'm Initiative and designate the National MS Society to receive your support.
Start by downloading the free Windows Live Messenger application from http://im.live.com. Send this link to all your personal and business contacts. Then just keep in touch with your online network, as you are probably already doing, because the more messages that get sent, the more Microsoft donates!
The i’m Initiative was introduced in 2007 when Microsoft began sharing advertising revenue from Windows Live Messenger with nine of the world’s most prestigious nonprofits — including the Society. Microsoft has also expanding the program to Hotmail, the e-mail service it recently acquired. There are approximately 70 million Hotmail accounts in the United States, including one in every five college students. According to Microsoft, billions of e-mails are sent daily. This means vastly more potential to generate funds for the Society.
Please take advantage of this opportunity and start using Windows Live Messenger and Windows Live Hotmail. All you need to do is to go through the setup process and designate the Society as your charity of choice. Then enjoy keeping in touch with your friends and colleagues while helping the MS movement!
