Kelsey Krueger, a 12-year-old from St. Cloud, MN, knows that when facing the scary and unknown, it's important to think positively and always fight back.
Kelsey was in preschool when her father, Loren, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Kelsey does everything she can to help her dad and move us closer to a world free of MS. In the past two years, Kelsey has raised more than $11,000 for the MS cause by hosting book fairs, poster contests and her own mini bike ride modeled after the Society's Bike MS Ride.
Her latest venture is an art contest "Kelsey's Kause Art Project." All entries will be evaluated and the 10 winning designs will be printed as note cards and will be featured alongside designs from Marc Brown, creator of "Arthur" and Douglas Wood, creator of "The Old Turtle." These note cards will be packaged together in an assortment and sold in retail stores, such as Shopko. Sales from the note cards will be donated to the National MS Society, Minnesota chapter.
