Dr. David Hafler is the Gilbert H. Glaser Professor and Chairman of the Department of Neurology at the Yale School of Medicine and is the Neurologist-in-Chief of the Yale-New Haven Hospital. Dr. Hafler is part of a consortium of MS genetics researchers working to solve the genetic basis of MS. The consortium is comprised of some of the world’s top MS geneticists, with members from the US, the UK and Australia. He is also Principal Investigator of a collaborative research project further advancing genetics research.

Dr. Patricia O’Looney has been with the National MS Society since 1988. She currently serves as Vice President of Biomedical Research, directing and overseeing the administration of the Society’s biomedical research funding programs.
