Dr. Peter Calabresi is Professor of Neurology at Johns Hopkins and Director of the Multiple Sclerosis Center. He is leading a multi-disciplinary and multi-institutional team of researchers who are searching for better ways to detect and quantify nerve fiber injury in MS and testing agents that may protect the nervous system from further damage. His team is making incredible progress, and developing tools that will advance other MS research.

Dr. Patricia O’Looney has been with the National MS Society since 1988. She currently serves as Vice President of Biomedical Research, directing and overseeing the administration of the Society’s biomedical research funding programs.
