Supporting the National MS Society is something that hundreds of partners do every year by participating in the Walk MS or Bike MS. In fact our nation-wide team has grown so much, the MS Society has given us this special page to help keep our team in touch.

Since you're here, I don't have to tell you what an impact MS has on the lives of many partners, their families and the communities we live in. You already know that every hour someone receives the life changing diagnosis "You have MS." That you're thinking about or already have created a team means you know the MS Society makes significant contributions to researching a cure for MS, developing outreach programs to help those impacted by MS and supporting those who live with MS - and the National MS Society needs our help to continue making great strides.
Over the past few years, our team has grown from small groups of participants scattered throughout the country to an organized group of 704 walkers and 40 bikers from 39 regions who raised over $100,000 in 2007, and we're just getting started! The more we reach out to fellow partners who participate in MS Walks and Bikes across the country, we continue to find additional stores who have teams of family, friends and customers to add to our team.
We're finding that teams aren't aware of all of the fundraising resources Starbucks makes available, such as the Make Your Mark, Choose to Give & Partner Connection programs. With a Make Your Mark (MYM), Starbucks will make financial contributions for the hours you as an individual or your store as a team put towards a charitable cause. The Choose to Give program matches program matches dollar-for-dollar, any donation a partner makes to a charitable cause ($20 or more; up to $1000 per year). The Partner Connection program links partners who share common interests and will help with fees related with the nature of the activity.

We aim to be one of the top grossing teams for the MS Society in the country. This year we have a goal of $175,000 raised by Starbucks partners and I'm certain we can do it! With this website, we hope to create a forum so we can share fundraising ideas, team recruiting efforts and celebrate our success - together!
