Welcome to the Vermont Office, All America Chapter, National Multiple Sclerosis Society.   Our web site provides information about:
  • Information about multiple sclerosis
  • Local programs and services
  • Current research and treatments
  • Current events and activities
  • Fundraising and volunteer opportunities throughout our service area

Our Mission

We achieve our mission through delivery of programs and services to people with MS and their families and caregivers, and through support of research into the cause and cure of MS.  Our activities are made possible through private donations, grants, sponsorships and fundraising campaigns such as Walk MS and Bike MS.
People with MS and family members who are registered with our office receive our quarterly newsletter MS Connection, mailings about educational programs, events and volunteer opportunities.  Most of our programs and services are free, however some may require nominal fees.

Spread the Word!

Studies show that early and ongoing treatment with an FDA approved therapy can reduce future disease activity and improve quality of life for many people with multiple sclerosis.  The National MS Society's medical advisors recommend that people with MS talk with their health care professional about using one of these medications and about strategies and effective treatments to manage symptoms.  The National MS Society is committed to ensuring that people with MS have the information and quality care they need to live healthy, productive and independent lives.  If you or someone you know has MS, please contact the National Multiple Sclerosis Society at vtn@nmss.org or 1-800 344-4867 to learn about ways to help manage multiple sclerosis and about current research that may one day reveal a cure.
