MS Activists Return to In-person MS State Action Days

May 10, 2023

Over 1,000 MS Activists from 20 states have made their voices heard at MS State Action Days in 2023! MS Activists in Arizona, California, Illinois, Ohio, North Carolina, Connecticut, Wisconsin and Texas met in person in the last month to advance state policies and programs that benefit people with MS and their families.

MS Activists have held dozens of meetings with lawmakers and made over 2,200 online connections with legislators about policies impacting people living with MS including access to MS medications, home modifications, access to high-quality, affordable care and mental health reform.

While we have returned to in-person events in some states, we continue to offer virtual opportunities for those unable to travel to their state capital. Every MS State Action Day, whether in-person or online, includes opportunities for MS Activists to connect with each other in addition to learning about policy priorities and preparing to share their story.
