Thank You National Sponsors of Walk MS®

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is pleased to welcome six Walk MS® national sponsors this year: Novartis, Sanofi Genzyme, Biogen, Celgene, EMD Serono and Genentech. Through their partnership, these companies demonstrate a commitment to supporting communities across the country and enhancing the event experience for all Walk MS participants.
 
Novartis is proud to continue to support the MS community for the eighth consecutive year and has increased their commitment as a premier national sponsor in 2019. Novartis will be participating in Walk MS events across the country where participants can learn more about its commitment to supporting the needs of people living with MS.

Sanofi Genzyme, a premier national sponsor, has been supporting Walk MS and the MS community for many years and continues to sponsor the Living with MS program’ – recognizing Walk MS participants who live with MS. At Walk MS, Sanofi Genzyme will be promoting their “Positively Living with MS” campaign in many ways. Walk MS participants can visit Sanofi Genzyme booths across the country to learn more as well as download their #RocktheWalk playlist on Spotify.

Biogen has supported Walk MS events for many years. Participants can visit Biogen’s booths across the country to experience their interactive gathering space while learning more about their products and how they support the MS community.

Celgene is proud to be a first-time national sponsor of Walk MS in 2019. Participants will be able to visit Celgene’s booths at select events and learn more about how they support the MS community.

EMD Serono has supported the MS community for many years and we are excited to also welcome them as a first-time national sponsor of Walk MS. EMD Serono looks forward to engaging with Walk MS participants and will be executing an artistic experience at select sites.

Genentech, a member of the Roche Group, is returning for its fourth year as a national sponsor of Walk MS. Participants around the country can visit the Genentech booth to learn more about the company's commitment to the MS community, and capture memorable moments at their selfie station.

About Multiple Sclerosis

Multiple sclerosis is an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. Symptoms range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis. The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances in research and treatment are leading to better understanding and moving us closer to a world free of MS. Most people with MS are diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 50, with at least two to three times more women than men being diagnosed with the disease. MS affects more than 2.3 million people worldwide.
