Job Responsibilities

• Search out corporations in the chapter’s area through the web, business journal and social media
• Engage corporations on the possibility for them to partner with the MS Society
• Send letters, chapter brochure and volunteer brochure
• Assist with all aspects of the chapters needs, which may include new sponsors or product donations for events
• Work with the Director to create new opportunities for highly skilled individuals and identify volunteer corporate leaders for chapter wide positions
• Manage the volunteer email account assisting with questions and information
• The position could also include speaking presentations.

Skills

• Excel, Word, email, good phone etiquette, enthusiastic, and be able to speak and work well with many different personalities.

Training

• Candidate will be trained on fundraising database via online classes offered by the Society and will work with chapter staff to get candidate up to speed on all data related needs.

Physical Requirements

• Be able to reach and lift at least 35 pounds

Length of Commitment

• One or two days a week in a four-hour block.
• Must be available on event weekends
