Multiple Solutions is the junior board of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in Greater Illinois. This group of young professionals is dedicated to creating a world free of MS by fostering awareness among young adults throughout Illinois, and providing volunteer and fundraising support for the National MS Society.
Multiple Solutions offers members a variety of ways to get involved and support the National MS Society. Aside from assisting with advocacy efforts and offering a place for young professionals who are directly affected by MS to seek support, the Junior Board also hosts four signature fundraising events each year: MS Summer Social, MS Slugfest, MS Pubcrawl, and MS Soiree.
Members of Multiple Solutions also advocate on behalf of people living with MS, serving as National Multiple Sclerosis Society ambassadors and connecting young adults who live with MS with each other and with supporters, helping them recognize that they are not alone.
- MS Slugfest: a co-ed 16” softball tournament held at Mt Greenwood Park on Saturday, August 12, 2017. More than 20 teams come together for a full day of softball games and an exciting home-run derby.
- MS Soiree: a cocktail party and casino-night fundraiser held at Galleria Marchetti on Saturday, February 24, 2018. More than 500 young professionals are expected to attend this year’s event, where they will enjoy music, dancing, cocktails, small bites from local restaurants, and an extensive silent auction.
- MS Summer Social: a cocktail party fundraiser held at Chop Shop Chicago in early June. More than 250 young professionals attended the event in 2017, where they enjoyed music, dancing, cocktails, hors d’ oeuvres, and a luxury opportunity drawing.
- MS Pubcrawl: official 2017 date and location TBD. More details coming this fall!
