The National MS Society is closely monitoring the latest developments of the coronavirus (COVID-19) global pandemic and we are taking proactive steps to protect people affected by MS, our event participants and the broader MS community. Based on recent guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we will not host the Cohn Weil Memorial Outing this year. We look forward to celebrating with you next year on July 12, 2021. Visit our Coronavirus Resources page for the latest information and updates.
Playing to Win Against MS
Our 42nd Annual Carol Cohn & Margie Weil Memorial MS Outing is an all-day event attended by several hundreds of people each summer, featuring a golf tournament at a historic, 27-hole, Donald Ross-designed course with morning or afternoon tee times; poolside yoga; continental breakfast; marvelous buffet lunch; cocktails all day; bridge, mahjong and canasta; incredible hors d'oeuvres; exciting live and silent auctions; and a gourmet sit-down dinner.
Last year, more than 500 attendees helped raise more than $1.3 million to benefit the crucial research, programs, and services that help improve the lives of more than 2.3 million people living with MS.
Over the past 42 years, the Carol Cohn & Margie Weil Memorial MS Outing has raised over $17 million to support the National MS Society's mission of creating a world free of MS.
2020 Honorees: Bill and Jackie Shiner
Bill and Jackie have been outstanding supporters of the Cohn Weil Memorial MS Outing for many years. We hope you will join us on July 6, 2020 to honor them for their exemplary leadership in our mission to end multiple sclerosis.
