Physical Wellness Reimbursement

Reimbursement for the Physical Wellness Program

How does the reimbursement program work for our members? Easy as 1-2-3

  1. Members will contact a partnering instructor in their area to discuss membership or appropriate classes being offered to register for the class that “fits” their ability level & schedule. You may require a pre-screening or visit before registration can be completed. Students will be responsible for paying for the pre-arranged cost of the class/membership directly with the instructor/facility.
  2. Students will send in a completed reimbursement form to the National MS Society. To qualify for this reimbursement, participants with MS must attend a certain percentage of classes and personal training sessions, or attend a certain number of times in a quarter for general membership reimbursement. Attendance is required and needs to be verified by the trained instructor.
  3. The National MS Society provides a reimbursement to the student of half the cost of the class or membership, not to exceed $50, up to three times a year. This reimbursement, in combination with any discounted rate, will make attending wellness classes more accessible to students with MS.
  • Membership: must attend facility 8 times per month for 2 months
  • Exercise Class: must attend 80% of classes
  • Personal Training: Must attend 3 sessions in 1 month
