Greater Carolinas

The Greater Carolinas Chapter works to improve the quality of life for people affected by MS in North Carolina and South Carolina and raise funds for critical MS research. Join the movement toward a world free of MS.

The safety and well-being of the entire MS community is our primary concern as Hurricane Ian makes its way toward the United States. If you are living with MS and are affected by the storm, MS Navigators can help you connect to emergency shelters and other critical services. If you continue to need support after the initial emergency has passed, we can help you identify resources (including temporary living assistance, medical equipment, medications, emotional support, or other challenges to your quality of life). Please call 800-344-4867 to connect with an MS Navigator, (Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. ET), chat or connect online at You can also learn more about emergency preparedness and locate resources on the Emergencies and Disasters page.

Whether you or a loved one are newly diagnosed or have had MS for many years, you have come to the right place to get connected.

The National MS Society is working toward a world free of MS. People affected by MS can live their best lives as we stop MS in its tracks, restore what has been lost and end MS forever.
