Looking for a group of dynamic volunteers to cultivate support for the MS Society by developing and deepening relationships within the Bergen, Monmouth, Morris & Middlesex communities!

Our Community Councils Need YOU!

A group of dynamic volunteers cultivating support for the MS Society by developing and deepening relationships within the community

Every person is a potential contributor to the MS movement.  We serve as an ambassador during community events expanding visibility, welcoming the community to join the MS movement, and ensuring trust and confidence in the National MS Society.

What we do:

  • Readily connect and refer others to the MS Society
  • Champion awareness through community education and advocacy (speaking up and speaking out)
  • Participate in events, lead fundraising teams and contribute financially

What it takes:

  • Community leader with strong ties to corporations and/or community groups
  • Leadership skills and influencer/ability to create new partnerships and strengthen existing ones.
  • Appointment for a consecutive two-year term
  • Approximately 2-5 hours per month including meetings; additional time may be required for participation in events and activities throughout the Society
