All Walk MS volunteers receive:

  • Volunteer T-shirt
  • Snacks and beverages
  • Community service hours
  • Plenty of smiles, high fives and thanks!

  • Check-In Crew: Our check-in crew volunteers are the first faces our walkers see! Volunteers assist in event set-up, collect pledge envelopes, register walk-on participants, and hand out T-shirts as well as route maps. 7 AM – 11 AM
  • Cheer Crew:  Wanted: Volunteers with energy to spare! Our cheer crew volunteers are stationed at cheer zones along the route to encourage and cheer on our event participants, monitor the course and direct any participants during the walk. 9 AM – 1 PM
  • Finish Line Crew: Volunteers assist with various tasks at the Walk MS finish line, which includes the set-up and distribution of lunch (varies by site), distributing medals and event break down. 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • Entertainers: Got a special talent? Share your skills with Walk MS participants to make it a memorable experience for all! We’re looking for musicians, DJs, face painters, magicians, clowns, balloon artists, and more to donate their time and join the movement.
  • Press: Say cheese! We’re looking for photographers & videographers to capture the magic of Walk MS. Using your own equipment, you will take team photos, start and finish line photos, and route and celebration photos. A list of desired photos will be provided.
  • Set-up/Breakdown - Volunteers will assist with setting up and breaking down tables and chairs, posting signage and moving boxes/other event supplies. They must be able to lift boxes, stand for long periods of time and bend. No seated positions are available.
