67Wine has joined the MS movement in an exclusive partnership with the New York City - Southern New York Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society to help create a world free of multiple sclerosis.

“We are very pleased to have formed this relationship with the National MS Society,” said Bernard Weiser, proprietor of 67Wine.

Since 1941, 67Wine, consistently rated one of the best wine shops in New York, has been a leading destination for fine wine and liquor from around the world.

“The ability to do something to assist the important and vital work being conducted on behalf of the thousands of people living with MS right here, compelled us to create the ‘Buck a Bottle’ campaign,” explained Weiser.

The campaign will begin March 11 during MS Awareness Week and conclude September 30. For every bottle of Avenida, Strasse and Paseo sold, 67Wine will donate a “Buck a Bottle” to support critical research, programs, and services for people affected by MS. In addition, for every bottle of Angels Envy bourbon sold, they will donate $5.

About Multiple Sclerosis

Multiple sclerosis is an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. Symptoms range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis. The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances in research and treatment are leading to better understanding and moving us closer to a world free of MS. Most people with MS are diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 50, with at least two to three times more women than men being diagnosed with the disease. MS affects more than 2.3 million people worldwide.
