Take Action Now
In order for an insurance plan to make affordable care accessible, it must have a robust network of a variety of types of healthcare providers. These providers must be able to see plan enrollees in a timely manner and must be located within a reasonable distance of where enrollees live and/or work. The lack of robust networks diminishes the impact of affordable health insurance as individuals with insurance are not able to access the care they require. Adding an out of network option to insurance plans would assist in improving access to care. The NY MSCAN supports (S.6207/A.8494)
