30th Annual MS Walleye Fishing Tournament
The MS Walleye Fishing Tournament is entering its 30th year. Participants spend the day fishing on Lake Erie, all while helping to fight MS. Participants start the morning with a hot breakfast. The day includes fishing from a fully-stocked boat chartered by a licensed boat captain. Your boat will have bait, ice, soda, water and lunches. After you are done fishing, we will weigh your walleye and have them cleaned and bagged to take home while you are having dinner.
Trophies are awarded for the largest walleye caught as well as the for the team catching the largest stringer (six largest walleye). In past years, participants caught over two thousand pounds of walleye to take home.
Boats are purchased for a group of six participants for $1350 or individual seats on a boat are $250 each. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
Participants should bring fishing license, sunglasses, sunscreen, a jacket and rain gear. You may bring your own fishing gear if you prefer.
Participants will receive a stocked boat (lunches, beverages, bait and ice), licensed charter boat captain, a group photo and a boat flag.
Judging based on each boat’s six largest fish. First, second and third place prizes for largest fish and stringer.
