The National MS Society is excited to announce that Dan Fouts, Hall of Fame quarterback and current color commentator for NFL games on CBS Sports will be the honoree at the 24th Annual MS Golf Invitational. Fouts played his entire career with the San Diego Chargers from 1973 through 1987. He is one of the most prolific passing quarterbacks during the Golden Age of the 70s and 80s.
Last year, this esteemed event raised over $135,000 toward a world free of MS. With Honorary Chair Cody Martinez, the invitational featured golf on an exclusive private course, silent and live auction, player awards, premier tee prizes, gourmet dinner, and much more.
The Invitational caters to 120 golfers who range primarily between the ages of 35 to 65, with an average income of $100,000 to $250,000. Last year, we raised $135,000 to benefit the Society!
Over 30 items are featured in a live and silent auction, including four- and five-star international and domestic hotel stays; golf; culinary and wine packages; once-in-a-lifetime experiences; autographed memorabilia; gift cards and entertainment admissions; and much, much more. There is something for everyone!
Take a Swing at MS
Your participation in the event—from the purchase of a foursome to a generous donation—helps the National MS Society make a world of difference for those living with MS right here in the Pacific South Coast area, by supporting research to find a cause and cure for MS and promoting programs for the 51,500 individuals affected locally by MS. MS research and programs are expensive, but community-supported events such as the Annual Golf MS Invitational enable us to generate a significant amount of funding by engaging the community in a successful and inspiring way to end MS forever.
