Meet Other Activists

Meet MS activists from all over the country. Learn how they got involved, what they’re passionate about and how they drive change.

MS activists are the voice of people living with MS nationwide. Many are individuals who live with MS; some are friends, colleagues and family members. All MS activists recognize their passion and power to move us closer to a world free of MS. Get to know how some MS activists got involved and what they’re passionate about—below. And be sure you’re a part of the MS Activist Network too!

Texas Government Relations Committee

The Government Relations Committee (GRC) is a group of active and dedicated volunteers who cultivate and maintain relationships with their legislators at the federal, state and local level. Annually, the volunteer GRC identifies, compiles and approves a list of priority legislative issues and leads the planning of their State Public Policy Conference held at the Capitol. By engaging legislators, the GRC raises awareness and advocates for policies and programs that will benefit those people living with MS and their families

Do you have questions about the GRC or the advocacy program? Contact Simone Nichols-Segers at 512-340-2707 or email for more information.
