Use the gentle flow of yoga to help you manage MS related symptoms. Connect physical poses with your breath and awareness as you move through each pose to bring peace to your body, mind and spirit. All poses can be modified to accommodate for physical ability and can be practiced standing or sitting in a chair or wheelchair. Class: Adaptive “Virtual” Yoga Class Who: For persons living with neurological impairment, including MS, stroke recovery, and Parkinson’s Day/Time: Mondays, 12:45 pm - 2 pm CT Place: Cheryl’s Zoom Classroom Cost: $20 for 4 consecutive classes Payment in advance made via PayPal or personal check mailed to Cheryl Registration: Contact Cheryl Alexander at cheryl@cherylalexanderdesigns.com to receive registration forms and submit them back to her In case of absence, classes will be recorded and available on Zoom for a week after class. Before you begin a new exercise routine, speak with your healthcare provider(s) and discuss any questions or concerns that you or they may have. Be aware that any exercise can elevate the body’s core temperature and temporarily aggravate MS symptoms. If needed, participants are required to secure their own personal assistant to participate in the program. Contact the instructor to inquire about program specifics.
