Jim O’Donnell

Local leader and philanthropist Jim O’Donnell will receive one of the highest awards the Society bestows upon volunteers: the Society’s Lifetime Achievement Award. Jim has supported the Society for more than 30 years, lending his time and talent to move our mission forward in impressive ways. Over his 30 year tenure, Jim established the local Dinner of Champions, was Chair of the Chapter Board of Trustees, served on the Society’s Peer Review Committee, and participated on the National Board of Directors. In addition to these impressive contributions, Jim has donated over $1 million to the Society through personal and family foundation gifts. Most notably, Jim contributed an endowment to the Chapter in 2004 to launch a post-secondary education scholarship program. Jim has touched hundreds of lives through his support of the scholarship program and made a lasting impact on the next generation of students affected by MS. Congratulations to this outstanding volunteer leader!
