Did you know that every Walk MS event is planned and run by local volunteers committed to helping people affected by multiple sclerosis? As a Walk MS planning team member, you can help make your community’s Walk MS a success by playing a critical role in the details of the event.

 

Areas for participation include developing a safe, accessible and scenic walk route; organizing rentals and in-kind donations; promoting the walk by distributing materials/posters and working with your local media; recruiting, assigning and training volunteers for the event; setting up and overseeing everything on Walk Day; or networking with participants, volunteers and sponsors. Attending regular planning meeting is required.
