Peter began his engagement as a volunteer fundraiser in 1970 and has been actively involved in many areas of the Society’s work. He served as a local trustee from 1979 to 2000, chairing the local board for three years in the 1980s. He served on the National Board of Directors from 1989 to 2005, sharing his extensive experience in audit, risk management and insurance. Peter was a member of the National Advisory Council in 2006 and returned to the National Board in 2007, now chairing the Insurance Committee and serving on the Audit and Executive committees. Peter was instrumental in the formation of Fast Forward, and currently chairs both the Fast Forward Board of Managers and the Fast Forward Oversight Committee.
