Description

Are you over 18 years old with an MS diagnosis (no flare ups in the last 30 days), exercise for 30 minutes or more at least 2 days per week for the last 6 months and would you like to help others with MS be more physically active? The Health Promotion and Rehabilitation Lab (principal investigator Dr. Chung-Yi Chiu) at the University of Illinois is interviewing to recruit 6 members for a focus group to help design an 8 week online program focusing on physical activity. The focus group members will then continue with the research as peer coaches. Each peer coach will help 5 other people with MS taking the new class. This is a multi-year study and you will be compensated for your time. If you are interested in more information, please contact us at our toll free number 844-800-9972 or mspaclass@illinois.edu. You can also apply directly at http://go.illinois.edu/MSPAclass  and we will follow up with a phone call screening for eligibility.
