Description

The goal of this study is to determine the effects of a tDCS on fatigue resistance in people with MS. 
tDCS is a non-invasive brain stimulation in which a weak current increases a person’s ability to excite neurons in the brain. Previous work has shown that tDCS has beneficial effects in healthy adults and other neurological disorders, such as Parkinson’s disease, but little work has been done in MS. In this study, participants will perform strength tests and a fatigue task holding a submaximal force for as long as possible, while either receiving tDCS stimulation or SHAM stimulation.
