Description

The Sutter Health MS genetic study is recruiting people with MS from ten sites to participate in a DNA sequencing study. The main objectives are to identify biomarkers of disease subtype, progression, and treatment response. The study is open to current and new Sutter Health patients and involves a clinic visit for consenting, blood draw, clinical exam, and a questionnaire. Data from electronic health records will be accessed to identify clinical features related to genetic factors. Strong security measures and study governance ensure patient privacy and anonymity. The study is representative of the racial/ethnic, age, sex, and disease diversity of Sutter Health patients.
