Description

The purpose of this research study is to understand more about how vascular comorbidities, such as high blood pressure and high cholesterol, impact the retinal vasculature in people with MS. In addition, we are aiming to better understand how changes of the retinal vasculature and neuronal structural integrity relate over time. The study involves 5 visits to the Portland VA Medical Center and OHSU over 2 years. During these visits you will have vision tests performed, complete questionnaires, have a blood draw, and a neurological exam. During your first and last visits, you will have a 45 minute MRI scan.
