We have invested more than $974 million in research since our founding $250 million in just the last five years through the NOW Campaign. MS treatment options are rapidly increasing – five approved in just the last five years. The MS treatment pipeline has expanded – there are now more potential treatments in trials than any other time in history. The promise of myelin repair is now reality – three potential myelin repair treatments have entered trials in just the last five years. Our understanding of the causes of MS has advanced – Nearly 200 genetic variants identified in just the last five years and several risk factors confirmed. “The National MS Society is the single organization serving as a catalyst for new research in MS.” –Faster Cures
