In December 2015, the National MS Society successfully completed the groundbreaking $250 million NOW MS Research Campaign – the largest MS research campaign in history – accelerating vital research progress towards our goals to:

Our impact: accelerated research breakthroughs change lives and end MS forever

We have invested more than $974 million in research since our founding

$250 million in just the last five years through the NOW Campaign.

“The National MS Society is the single organization serving as a catalyst for new research in MS.” Faster Cures

We have recruited more than 900 new researchers to the field

Nearly every thought leader driving advances today got their start with Society funding. 137 grants alone were provided to promising young researchers during the NOW Campaign.

“I would not have pursued a career in MS research without the critical funding and support provided by the National MS Society.” – Dr. Stephen Hauser, UCSF, MS research thought leader

We have galvanized the world around solving progressive MS

15 countries and counting are now collaborating through the International Progressive Alliance due to NOW Campaign support.

“For the first time, MS Societies around the globe are funding research together, without considering geography, in order to find the answers the progressive MS community urgently needs.” – Cyndi Zagieboylo, National MS Society CEO
