The Ask an MS Expert program series provides an opportunity to learn more about multiple sclerosis from top MS experts. Programs focus on trending topics related to the MS community. Experts answer your questions and MS Navigators provide live resource support throughout each program.

Veterans Program: Managing Anxiety and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder

Join us for a conversation to learn about the impact of anxiety and PTSD on Veterans living with multiple sclerosis and steps to take for living well with anxiety.  Presenters will include Steven Erickson, a Licensed Clinical Neuropsychologist at Greenville Veterans Affairs Health Care Center in North Carolina and Lisa Lynn, a military Veteran and private practitioner and owner of Dove Wellness and Counseling, LLC.

A new study titled, The Economic Burden of Multiple Sclerosis in the United States, shows the average total cost of living with multiple sclerosis is $88,487 per year and the annual economic burden, the cost to all of society, is $85.4 billion. Join us and Sherry Perry, Director of Benefits, Employment and Insurance at the National MS Society, who will share some strategies and resources to help us understand how to manage the high cost of MS.
