Ask an MS Expert Program Series

The Ask an MS Expert program series provides an opportunity to learn more about multiple sclerosis from top MS experts. Programs focus on trending topics related to the MS community. Experts answer your questions and MS Navigators provide live resource support throughout each program.
 
The Ask an MS Expert program series is offered weekly in English, monthly in Spanish and quarterly for Veterans.
  • Weekly on Fridays from 1-1:30pm ET in English
  • The 3rd Wednesday of each month from 7-8pm ET in Spanish
  • Quarterly for Veterans
The program series is available live and on-demand on several platforms – webinar, Society website, Facebook, and YouTube (varies per program type).

Stem Cells in MS
Friday, Oct. 8 | 1:00 PM EDT – 1:30 PM EDT

There is exciting and innovative research and progress happening around the potential of many types of stem cells for slowing MS disease activity and for repairing damage to the nervous system. Our expert for this program, Dr. Jeffrey Cohen, Director of the Cleveland Clinic Mellen Center and the Mellen Center Experimental Therapeutics Program, will tell us what stem cells are, their potential benefits in MS, and the latest updates in stem cell research.

Veterans Program: Care Partners: Building a Partnership
Tuesday, Nov. 16 | 1-2 p.m. ET / 10-11 a.m. PT

Living with MS requires a team effort — a partnership that grows and evolves over time. Partners, spouses, family, and friends can be drawn more closely together by their shared concerns and collaborative efforts. Join us for a conversation with Ebonee Lyle, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), at the Veterans Administration. Learn how to support each other, tackle decision-making, adjust to new relationship roles, and discover resources to support successful management of MS.
