Event And Program FAQs

Is my event, program or State Action Day canceled or postponed?
Just like all of you, we’ve been closely watching the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and deciding how best to move through this uncharted territory. People with MS are at the center of everything we do so we have decided to cancel, postpone or move to a virtual experience all in-person events, programs, meetings and State Action Days through at least May 17 based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Additionally, all Walk MS events through June are moving to a fully virtual experience. MS Adventure Camp will proceed in June while other In-person programs are scheduled to resume in July.  We will continue to monitor this evolving situation and share future updates.

I'm registered for an event/program/State Action Day that's scheduled after May 17, when will I know if it's still happening?
For events, programs and State Action Days scheduled beyond May 17, any changes will be communicated soon.

Will my event/program/State Action Day be rescheduled?
Planning our events, programs and State Action Day is a year-round process with many moving parts, so rescheduling is challenging. If an event or program is able to be rescheduled, participants will receive direct communication with more information.

Absolutely! While we may not be gathering at fundraising events over the coming weeks, we will continue working toward our fundraising goals.

How do I turn in donations I've received?
Donations can be mailed to your local office. Unsure of the address? Email Fundraising Support. In an effort to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), we ask that you refrain from dropping off donations in person until further notice. Please do not mail cash.

Am I still eligible for fundraising incentives?
Yes, you will still be eligible to receive fundraising incentives for your event. Please watch for additional communication via email in the coming weeks.
